In the wake of the recent revelations regarding our board (and ex-members of it - check at www.606championship.proboards62.com/index.cgi?board=luton&action=display&thread=1179394718&page=1 if you are unaware), a petition has been put up urging the FA to punish the genuinely guilty parties - the few board members involved - and not the club. While I appreciate it's an extremely optimistic effort, we'll never know if we don't try. When I signed, it was approaching 600 signatures - with enough, we may get something from it. Just maybe. This taken from Loyal Luton Supporters: One of our members has set up the following on-line petition in a plea to the FA to ensure that those guilty people in the current enquiry are the ones that face punishment and not the innocent ones, i.e. us the fans
Please click on this link and lend it your support if you agree and also let other family members/ friends etc. sign it as well. Remember the FA has a big part to play in this and this is potentially a very good way in letting them know what and how we feel.www.petitiononline.com/luton/petition.htmlDespite campaigning for transparency from the board for the last three years, we now stand to be punished - and probably heavily. Please try to make a difference now! Thank you.

Thank you Alex! If it helps coerce the rest of you, remember that if it does actually achieve anything, it'll apply to all clubs in future, not just Luton - so if you ever get a dodgy chairman... I don't know why the clubs get punished anyway, unless it was patently a club-wide thing instead of two or three people as is the case at Luton - when all that crap at Enron was uncovered, they didn't punish the employees, they punished the board - and rightly!

No problem. I've read your comments about Tomlin, and saw it in the Daily Mail my Dad bought, and Newell was right.

No problem. I've read your comments about Tomlin, and saw it in the Daily Mail my Dad bought, and Newell was right. I think it says a lot in favour of the club when our secretary (bless 'er), one of the most respected individuals there by the fans even before this, informed Tomlins that someone had been doing dodgy deals and reported it to the FA in the hope of getting it sorted for the club's sake. I think it also says a lot about the FA when it takes them 11 months to respond to a "Help! Dodgy dealings at our club! Sort these people out!" plea too Over 800 signatures now!
