I went to the Walkers when we drew 0-0 a while back. Somehow ended up sitting next to my mate who moved up to Market Harborough by sheer luck! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I went with my bro filbert85 - he sat with the Leicester fans and I sat with the Town fans. That one will not be easy to live down. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Lol! Nah, not good. First half wasn't that bad but the set-piece defending finished us off. Throughout the second half one of the biggest problems concerned the left wing, which was as clear as day from where we were sat. Dan Harding had no-one to knock it forward to on the left, so was either relying on hopeful punts up front towards Counago and Lee, or knocking it short to Garvan who did his best to charge through the middle. The absence of the left-wing option combined with how solid Leicester were looking yesterday meant we just couldn't break them down. Anyway, I'm going to the Ricoh on Saturday with a Cov-supporting friend of mine ( ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) )... I'm seriously hoping I see a better performance than that, otherwise the stick I'll get will make me want to shoot myself before the year's out. ...on a lighter note, well done Alex Bruce for giving us the biggest cheer of the afternoon when he tried to kill the referee(!) ;D Lol!

leicester looked solid !? r u joking ? i was there, all their game plan was = soak up opposition n hope they scored off a set piece they were shit, we were worse. Honestly, they were crap

Yes we're crap, crap going forward, crap because our strikers are average and we have no midfield, particularly no creative midfielders to supply them.
But really, reality check, we do have one of the best defences in the league...just 23 goals in 26 games which is why we are not in the bottom 3. So to say we didn't look solid when Ipswich failed to break us down over 90 minutes to give any real trouble to Marton Fulop at all is silly.
I've no doubt we didn't take many risks to go looking for a third but we were comfortable and had Ipswich well in control. 'soaked up the opposition' hardly we had 62% of the ball.
I'm not saying it was pretty or a good game to watch but it was a professional performance from Leicester who won the game at a canter without ever needing to get out of third gear.
Perhaps you should look a bit closer to home at where your problems really lie. Man for man you are better than Leicester but for whatever reason you can play so well at Portman Road but away from home against whoever, even poorer teams like us you have been nowhere.

u didn't look especially solid, we didn't look creative no idea if u were solid coz we were poor throughout the 90, but yeah uve got a good defensive record so well done
won the game at a canter ?! u did fuck all for 90 boring minutes apart from one of ur retarded fans throwing a coin at me. How mature.
Just read on ur forum u didn't even go to the game !!!!!!!! o dear,,,,,,,,, ur views mean zilch to me now, ur not really in a position to influence my opinion as ur going by hearsay
and yeah man for man we're a lot better than ur boring boring team as for ur 24,000 crowd, who created an atmosphere that resembled a cemetary. Pretty bad. At least if ur lot had have tried to create sum noise the 90 minutes might not have dragged much.
U can't be happy with how ur lot played tho can u !? coz if u r, then u'll be bottom 5 all season, i'll put it that way.
anyway ur right our away form is dreadful, a bit like ur form home and away.

hmmm great, someone got up on the wrong side of bed yesterday.
Not overly bothered to be honest. Given the fragile confidence a win was far more important than the performance. a) I doubt it was as bad as you make out. b) we've probably played better and lost/drawn c) next month's team will be significantly different, let alone next season.
And why do you care how Leicester played? Surely the fact that Ipswich managed to play worse should bother you more.
You're right I can't comment on how good our performance was, but yes at a canter. 2-0 up atfter 30 minutes and we played the game out. You didn't seriously trouble Fulop so Leicester were professional. Lots of teams do it every week.
If you were bored then blame you're own team who are obviously so brilliant but couldn't trouble Leicester.
blah blah blah...great! Interesting that theres a thread on foxestalk saying Ipswich were the quietest fans to visit this season but hey ho.
Actually, our away form is not dreadful.
Get over it.

if we have the worst away fans, u have by far the quietest home fans ive ever been to. Honestly, it was sooooooo dead. to sum it up, i got hit by a coin when i was reading my program before the game kicked off !!! don't really see how i deserved that by reading,,,, but hey
our problem is we do well in games, but dont take our chances. N don't u have the nerve to say at a canter, thats bollox u weren't there so yeah,,,,,,,,, well done !!!!! genius !
ne way we played much better 2night than we did v coventry n have yet another bloody midlands team new years day ( there seems to be about 50 i swear !!! ) yeah we're not fantastic at the minute, but doing a lot better than last season + transfer window = thumbs up.
We signed 3 freebys in the summer,,,, u splashed the cash, yet ur the 1s in a relegation battle
what do u think of ya chairman !?

Bluey, I do not understand why since coming home from this game on Wednesday you have just been full of vitriol and unwarranted abuse towards Leicester. You used to be alright to talk to but this is ridiculous.
You have talked a lot about how crap and boring Leicester are, you're an Ipswich fan and yet seemingly not concerned that however bad we were, you were clearly worse as Magilton admitted. Well great, I've been to 12 Leicester games this season and watched 4 more on TV; I am acutely aware of what Leicester's problems are, and how we need to go forward.
But Wednesday, the game was not controversial, there were no overly dodgy decisions which changed the game - boring as you say. Leicester 2-0 up after 33mins, set pieces or not and in my opinion whilst not pretty to watch they professionally and effectively limited Ipswich for the rest of the game. We're not good enough to do much more than that. You didn't create much and had 38% possession so how did you dictate the play!? Its not my fault, blame your own team. If I'd been to watch Leicester play so poorly to a team who are a lot worse than us and 15-20 places lower in the league I would be none too happy with my own side's performance not ranting on about the opposition being boring. Its your own team's fault you lost.
Yes, I'm sure it wasn't nice being hit by a coin but in my opinion you are using that to launch into a series of unnecessary attacks on me and Leicester. As you keep pointing out, I wasn't at the game and sit the other side of the stadium in the kop anyway! Its unfortunate but hardly my fault.
As for Milan...jury is out for me mate. He let Allen spend a lot of money on lots of players without getting rid of any. He should have kept a tighter leash. But I do think he has the club's interests at heart. I'll just enjoy the ride, see how he does, he has been unlucky with managers so far. Hopefully Ollie and 2008 will be the new start we need.

i actually dont mind leicester got a bet on u coming top 3 this season, i thought ud def come top 6 just find sum1 who wasn't there a bit odd stating u won it at a canter etc etc ,,,,,,,, when u didn't nope, no dodgy decisions refs did well ( had nothing 2 do it was very very very dull, an easy easy game 2 ref !! ) think i read sumwhere about u stating coventry chavs,,, leicester is maybe the biggest chav place i can remember going 2, but every section of grounds sadly have a chav section now.... both teams were boring as hell, the game was ! i donno y u can't accept that it was such a boring / poor match!!!! i don't mind us losing 6-0 so long as its a good day out n not a cack match ( ie the 4-0 loss to wba where we literally killed um to 85 then conceded 3 late on !!! ) ne way good luck in rest of season etc bla bla new year haha etc

cool ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) can we call a truce so to speak, accept we have differing views on the game and forget all about it? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Hopefully we'll win 4-3 next season, then at least you'll be happy. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I had a soft spot for Ipswich when I was at uni. I perhaps shouldn't talk about a game so much I wasn't at, I agree, I listened to most of it though and tbh am going on the match facts and what people have told me so to speak. I've been to almost all the home games, just had family stuff Boxing Day. We do, yes but like you say all clubs do. Leicester is a family club on the whole and theres rarely any trouble unless one of the big or local teams come. I could suggest half a dozen places you may want to avoid if chavs aren't your thing. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) At least we have more fans than Cov, even if they are chavs. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) To be honest mate, I like free flowing attacking football as much as you but the players we have can't really do it. Ollie will shape the team in that way so it will happen, I am confident. It'll take time though. We don't have a midfield, which is the problem essentially. I don't accept it but you don't know what a game will be like til you go to it. Even this season we've been in some good games, Leic 4 Watford 1, Forest 2 Leicester 3, Chelsea 4 Leicester 3. Maybe I'm an optimist. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Good luck to you guys to ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
