Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract which will keep him at Portman Road until 2010.
His initial two-year deal was set to run out at the end of the season.
The former Northern Ireland midfielder arrived at Ipswich in 1999 but had been poised to leave Suffolk before being appointed as boss in June 2006.
First-team coach Bryan Klug and skills coach Steve Foley are also set to sign new two-year contracts.
And Magilton told the Ipswich website: "The club have shown faith in us and have liked what they have seen so far.
"The chairman and the board believe we are heading in the right direction. We have new invesment coming in and I think the future is encouraging"
Magilton took over from Joe Royle who left Ipswich in May 2006 and businessman Marcus Evans was quick to give his backing after buying a majority stake in the club last week.
"Jim Magilton and the squad have made a terrific start to the season and will have my full support," Evans commented.
