Charlton manager Alan Pardew has confirmed that former Town striker Darren Bent will leave the Valley if the Addicks are relegated. Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are both reported to be lining up £10 million bids for the England international. all ive gotta say is YES YES YES YES YES GET DOWN !!!!!!!! Me n my dad have been saying we want Charlton to go down since January when the interest in Bent from other clubs first started surfacing.
I believe the sell-on-clause in Benty's contract is 20%, so a £10M sale would bring £2M into Jim's coffers!
Shame he wouldn't be going for the silly figures of £17-£18M that were banded around in January, but nontheless, £2M is more than enough at this level to bring in the right players that make the difference bewteen mid-table mediocreity and promotion contendors.
I'm sure if a Benty sale is likely then we can more or less guarantee the purchase of Frantastic Jeffers ;D

just been on west hams site n man their ticket prices are a JOKE
Cat A games are on average £50 / £60 a go,,, n kids tickets are like £30 ish !!! pathetic !!!!!!! with that rich chairman 2

Shocking prices, but typical of any London club. I went away to Palace costing £30 and thats for a championship club, although away fans do tend to pay more...
