...I'll need it... ...seems every bloody site says the same thing: how Actim calculate the index rather than exactly how many points they award. But here are some examples to give you an idea: From the weekend of 10-11th February 2007, Kevin Maher got 67pts when he scored two goals for Southend against QPR, while Leicester's Gareth McAuley got 53pts having scored twice against Ipswich ( ). McSheffrey got 41pts having scored the winner against Stoke, but Chopra scored a penalty against Coventry that weekend and only got 7pts! So it's difficult to determine from that. But you'd say anyone who scores two goals would get at least 45-50.

Think Alex Bruce'll move down, unless for some crazy reason they don't include red cards

Stupid gits didn't update the Index last week. No idea why.

Anything to do with the fact it was near Easter weekend?

Well the new Actim Index came out yesterday and the news for Ipswich is... not good. Alan Lee has, surprisingly in my opinion, moved up one place to 14th, but our 3 defenders (Alex Bruce, Jason De Vos and Dan Harding) who were in the top hundred have all slipped out except for one; De Vos, clinging on to 100th place!

Our not-so-impressive performance against Norwich has shown in the Actim Index this week - Alan Lee is now our only player in the top hundred, and even he is slipping due to having fewer appearances and not playing that well in them either!

I really haven't been on here enough recently to update this stuff! Lol! Well I won't bother updating the front page with this now because: A. I don't think anyone reads this B. The rankings are gonna change tomorrow anyway ...but the rankings from 3/5/07 put Alan Lee in 17th and Alex Bruce back in the top 100 in 92nd.

I'm guessing that's because of coursework and revision?
Something I should be doing, but can't be arsed to do!

It's largely 'as you were' for Ipswich in the Actim Index in what is presumably the last update of the season (unless the playoffs count). Alan Lee remains Town's top striker and top player overall but moves up 3 places to 17th, Alex Bruce remains our highest-ranked defender in 95th (back in the top 100! Lol!) and Gary Roberts keeps his place as best Ipswich midfielder in 165th.

I'd forgotten about this thread... Lol! Well seeing as the new season is well underway, I thought I'd get this going again, particularly because it appears that Mr. Alan Lee himself is actually ranked #1 in the Coca Cola Championship Actim Index at present! Lee's amazing start to the season, with 3 Championship goals in 3 games, puts him top of the rankings with 85pts. Certainly the Actim Index is nothing more than a measure of season performance, because there's no way that Alan Lee is the best player in the Championship! Lol!! If only... Also up front, Town have Jon Walters in the top 10 (to be more specific, 8th) on 62pts. Jason De Vos is Town's top-ranked defender, 16th on 57pts, and Gary Roberts is Town's highest ranking midfielder in 24th on 55pts.
