Interesting Preston news: Preston boss Paul Simpson will give the club's top scorer David Nugent as long as possible to prove his fitness ahead of the home game with Ipswich. "We're not sure if he'll be right for the game," said Simpson. "We'll leave it as long as he can." He'll probably still play against us, the bastard Anyway, no Town news yet but I think we can all guess the strike partenership thanks to Lee's mouth and stupidity and Jeffers' being injured. Reckon we'll play 5-4-1 and try to get a draw? Because with Preston's home record and how our head's dropped on Saturday without Jeffers, there's no way of us winning

No it couldn't. Without Jeffers, our heads dropped on Saturday you could see it. Lee being an idiot only adds to our problems upfront with Walters facing a late fitness test. Fine, play 4-5-1. Whatever, I can't see us winning. Preston are formidable at home. Our defence looked poor against Southend and Price hasn't done much. With Haynes having not scored since the Colchester match, and Clarke trying to be too clever, where are we going to score?
Preston are clearly better than QPR and Hull, and if we can concede 3 against those two sides, then how are we going to keep Preston out? Be realistic.
Squad Bruce Clarke De Vos Garvan Harding Haynes Legwinski O'Callaghan Peters Price Richards Roberts Sito Supple Walters Williams Wilnis Wright (He was appalling Saturday)
Bring on Luton for a realistic chance of winning!

Fair enough! I reckon they're pulling our leg, they'll probably play him against us. But yeah, without him still wary, but gaining a little bit of confidence Yup! Having seen what happened when I predicted England to be hammered by France... Best that I just shut up really Still can't believe I forgot about Haynes.: 1. I listened to the match 2. It was on Soccer AM. Think it was because I had the Colchester game stuck in my head as I've got the pictures on my wardrobe.

Apparently the line-up (I'm saying apparently, I've not switched the radio on): Ipswich 34 Price 20 Wright 05 Bruce 04 De Vos 23 Harding 33 Roberts 08 Legwinski 21 O'Callaghan 03 Richards 19 Walters 18 Haynes Substitutes 01 Supple, 07 Garvan, 11 Williams, 24 Clarke, 02 Wilnis Hurrah! Walters! He's fit! No Peters though... While Nugent pisses us off no doubt (Bluey: It's nice to be proved wrong, and shows how I should never be allowed near a management team. I should just concentrate on sleeping and homework.)

Preston 1-0 Ipswich
Preston bounced back from their loss to Hull by comfortably seeing off Ipswich. Striker Michael Ricketts put the home side ahead when he thumped in a header from a Danny Pugh cross for his first goal for the club.
Pugh's corner on the hour mark almost led to another goal but defender Callum Davidson's shot came back off the post.
Preston had four strikers on in the latter stages as they saw attack as the best form of defence but failed to add to their tally.

Oh dear, looked one sided from the highlights although the stats show a different picture.
We do down again to 17th and need to win on Saturday to move away from the bottom. Luton have losts 5 in a row including Leeds and Hull so we should be winning.
