Ipswich Town midfielder Owen Garvan has vowed to learn from the first red card of his career in Saturday's 2-0 loss to Leicester City.
The 19-year-old was dismissed mid-way through the second-half of Town's defeat for a two-footed lunge on City winger Levi Porter.
"I am really disappointed to have lost my discipline and I will make sure it doesn't happen again," he said.
Garvan will now miss Ipswich's FA Cup clash with Watford through suspension.
