Ipswich manager Jim Magilton has disciplined a number of his players after they went on an unauthorised trip to Amsterdam last week.
Magilton has been angered by the actions of the particular members of his squad and has quickly acted.
"This is an internal disciplinary matter and the appropriate steps have now been taken to ensure this does not happen again," said Magilton.
"Those involved are very aware that I expect better from them in future."
Ipswich drew with League Two side Chester in the FA Cup last Saturday on the back of a 1-0 win over Championship leaders Birmingham.
Wouldn't want Magilton shouting at me...

so Alan Lee,,,,,,,,,, Gavin Williams,,,,,,,,,, n Gary Roberts ! u were the 3 going 2 Holland firstly - Lee - well i guessed u wud have been involved ! cardiff fans have said about u before,,,,,,,,,, bit poor, but i DID expect u to be one of the first teamers sadly,,,, n was proven right ! secondly - Williams.,,,,,,,, a bit disappolinted considering u haven't played too many games due 2 fitness n injuries, u shud concentrate on that n go end of the season Roberts - VERY VERY pissed off with u we've signed u , given u probably a good pay rise, and this is how u repay us. we're trying 2 go forwards and need commited players verdict - dont want this 2 course dressing room upset well done Jim on disciplining those players, hope ur a bit embarrassed u 3 ! n uve led youth astray a bit........... having said that, its the sorta thing id probs do if i was good enuff 2 be a pro player, so cant moan 2 much ! lets hope it doesn't happen again ! nuff said  ooo n prove a point u 3 in putting in 500% in beating Sunderland on Sat - a poor game off any of the 3 of u ,,,,,,,, fingers will be pointed !!!!!!!!!! |
