I believe Bent will only be sold if he is injured, as he won't be able to play a significant role in their relegation fight, so would make sense to cash in now, and strengthen the team with the aim of avoiding relegation.
If the bigger clubs are so keen to get Bent, then in essence Charlton can name their price, these days, if a club is desperate to acquire a players services then they will pay extreme amounts of cash, even if over inflated, therefore, some noice coin should be coming Ipswich's way.

Very true, Jim Magilton is proving to be a good manager in the making. Yeah, I like him. Plus, he knows most of the players from his playing days so I'm sure they're comfortable with him... Hopefully, he won't be nicked if we do something shockingly good...

Hopefully, he won't be nicked if we do something shockingly good... Hmmm at best he could go to another Championship club, but he has been at Ipswich for years, it's his club, so his challenge is to do really well with Ipswich and bask in the pure and utter satisfaction.

Magilton is building a decent, young squad, and i'll support him 100% in his decisions, as we can all see the team is starting to move in the right direction, we're just lacking the firepower at the moment. And the consistency. But Jim can't be blamed for that

You Spurs lot don't know what you're missing Sometimes lack of resources is not such a bad thing. We have given many managers, great backing, and they have purchased sub standard players for silly money, therefore, making us under achieve and at worse make up the numbers in the Premiership. Resources must be used wisely, look at the plight of Leeds now.

If someone big wants to buy someone in the Championship, who are they going to go for?

Unfortunately the interest from our loans is crippling us, we shud apply for lottery funding. I had a dream the other day where i won the euro lottery, bought the club off sheepshagger, sat in the northstand and chatted with fans during the match, and then ran onto the pitch and hugged alan lee after he scored the winner in the play off final, and became the countrys most popular chairman Unfortunately however i dont play the lottery

Bummer! If anyone does win the lottery though, and has the urge to do something stupid... Buy Ipswich Town! ;D
