The Football Association has rejected Bury's appeal against their expulsion from the FA Cup. Bury were thrown out for fielding an ineligible player - on-loan Hartlepool midfielder Stephen Turnbull - in their second-round replay win over Chester. The FA reinstated Chester, who are set to face Ipswich Town in the third round on 6 January. Casper had offered to resign after the Football Association ejected Bury but the club's board turned him down. Turnbull is on loan from Hartlepool but Bury did not get the official go-ahead for him to play in the FA Cup. Hartlepool manager Danny Wilson had given Caspar verbal permission for Turnbull to play but the paperwork was never sent to Bury. Reacting to news of the FA's decision to uphold their expulsion of Bury from the FA Cup, "We're obviously delighted to still be in the tournament," Chester secretary Tony Allan told BBC Radio Suffolk. "Of course, this is not necessarily a satisfactory way to make progress but it's an opportunity that has presented itself to us. "We're only too pleased to accept and we're looking forward to the home game against Ipswich Town in the third round." Well, we should techinally be able to have beaten both sides... Or should that be beaten by both sides ( ) Anyway, let's hope we can finally get through the third round

Chris Casper is a fool:
From http://www.bbc.co.uk:
Bollocks. Fact is, Chris, you screwed up (you wouldn't have offered to resign if you didn't acknowledge the fact that you had), your team broke the rules, therefore justice was done and they got kicked out. Don't talk shite.
