OHH, AT LAST, SOMEONE'S THINKING ALONG MY LINES!!! ;D As soon as I saw this on Sky Sports News, I said out loud "get in there, Jim, bring Unsworth back to Town". Yes, he's getting on and he's not anything particularly special, but he worked well at Town during his loan a couple of seasons ago and we probably would've signed him permanently had it not been for Portsmouth saying "oh no he's not for sale" before they shipped him out to Sheffield United...  Hopefully, bluey, if there's two of us thinking the same thing, perhaps someone at Portman Road is too! |

Must admit, I get a bit fed up of people being unavailable when Town approach them yet somehow they end up somewhere by no means any more appealing within a couple of months... ...we wanted Unsworth, Pompey said he's not for sale, then they sold him to Sheff Utd... ...we wanted Ricardo Fuller, wasn't going to happen because he was scoring too many for Southampton, then he was shipped off to Stoke for £100k... ...we wanted Phil Parkinson to take the managerial post, he said "nope, I'm committed to Colchester" then promptly turned up at Hull to help push them towards relegation... ...taking the piss, ain't it...  |
