Wed better sign Roberts permanently, hopefully the deal is already done and just waiting for the window to reopen.
A RB, as Jim doesnt seem to want Sito playing, and Bruce is a CB
A fast pacey striker, slightly older than Clarke/Haynes, as they are not quite ready yet
Tommy Miller hopefully

Now the serious version. Well it was thought we'd raised a seven figure sum from the share issue for us to spend on summer signings. Now that's either gone mysteriously missing, or it's yet to be used. If it's yet to be used, hopefully we can sign: 1. Gary Roberts permanently (hoping the club already have a fee fixed, because if not, I think his price has shot up since we signed him on loan...) 2. Another defender (Steven Whittaker is in the frame but that will probably cost us at least £1m, so it depends how big the budget actually is. Sheepshanks says it's a " significant sum by Championship standards". So knowing us it'll be £750,000... ) 3. Another striker (by this point I want us to have got rid of Macken, cash in as much as we can on Bowditch because it's all gone tits-up there and sadly it clearly isn't going to work out for him at Town, and bring in someone to compliment Haynes and Clarke - or if we're feeling particularly adventurous, a big-name expensive striker who can be Lee's new partner.)

Definately try and get Roberts permanately. Get another defender and another striker. Basically, I agree with what NCA said... And hope for Darren Bent to be sold for mega-bucks so we can get a bit of money from the sell-on clause.

The Roberts deal is done I think, I think it was done when we took him on loan, about 200,000k I think...although there are rumours the coach was also involved in the transfer so maybe that makes up (a fair portion!!!) of the transfer cost?!

I know for sure Keane has interest in Clarke but everyone does Actually, Keane thinks we're terrible at transfers after the Tommy Miller saga. So Billy isn't going up north (he'd probably wouldn't have wanted to anyway )
