im really sorry,,,, that may be sky sports news' aim for what Ipswich Town can achieve but we aint in a relegation battle

I'm going to shock you all now - NCA will bring SANITY to proceedings...  Fact is, no team is truly out of the relegation battle until it becomes mathematically impossible for them to be so. Look at Luton - they were all geared up for a promotion charge just because they were 6th, then we play them, beat them 5-0, and they go on to lose 7 on the trot to end up BELOW US! Now I know they beat Preston today, but it just highlights the nature of the Championship this early in the season. We were in this same position last year, then we went on a blinding run after Christmas and that was enough to keep us safe, so no-one really knows who is in the relegation battle until February at the earliest. |

I would say Southend are definitely in a relegation battle already, irrespective of mathematical theories!
Aside from them there are a lot of teams in the mix and it is indeed likely to change every week
Ipswich won't go down though
