So what do you think for the Ashes Dudette, you feeling confident. What would your team be... Batting for me picks itself (which ain't good) Cook Strauss Bell Pietersen Collingwood Flintoff Keepers Either Jones or Read?!!? Spinner Giles or Monty?! Mahmood Hoggard Harmison Very long tail with Monty in there at 11 but we've gotta take 20 wickets

Cook Strauss Bell Collingwood (before Pietersen, I think he can stick around longer than KP and he bats better with the top order, as we saw with Cook) Pietersen Flintoff Keepers Jones. I just think he brings a better team spirit, and he's always cheering them on. I also think he bats well with Flintoff. It's a tough one though, as Read is by far the better keeper. Spinner Monty. If you don't play your best spinner, then what kind of crazy man do we have in charge of the England team?! Mahmood Hoggard Harmison And I would agree with Mahmood, his 41 a couple of days ago looked from the scorecard brilliant! He just needs to sort out his line and length, but also gain a bit of cofidence

You're right by the looks of it. Although Mahmood's batting might help his claim, especially if Monty plays instead of Giles...

Yeah, although Hoggy is more defensive, and less attacking (although that Trent Bridge Test last year does kinda prove this one wrong... )

Here where you're all coming from...but I disagree ;D I prefer a strokemaker at 4 and the grafter at 5 to work with the tail if needed, try and play the role he does in ODIs

One slight problem. I don't care enough about The Ashes to make any effort to follow it. I'm sorry Dudette. If you wish to slaugher me for that comment, they're doing a half price sale at Lizzie Borden's L'il Hatchet Shop on the A12...

Well I've been following the Ashes about as much as I thought I would... ...that means one look at BBC's Cricket Latest Scores page each day... ...and seeing as I saw the Aussies had gotten 600-someodd for 9 and England already had 3 out on only 56, I think I can safely say I don't really need to make any more effort to follow this test in order to know the result...
