He's starting to do the Darren Currie - occasionally he'll put in some fantastic crosses or balls from set pieces, yet other times he'll play pretty poorly and on occasions like today, totally balls something up.

He set up the last goal... but that was about it The whole of where I was sitting was practicarly begging for Jim to take him off

If matt richards had been playing his best the score would have been at least 4-0, missing a sitter for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Its a good job harding was playing so well as richards was poor. His corners were shocking - he was lucky peters or currie werent on the bench

I'm not a fan of Currie but I'd started him over Matt everytime. Matts weaknesses are showing and he doesn't use his massive fitness to get around the place. He's the third left hand player imho behind Roberts and Currie so shouldn't even be on the bench.

I'm still dissapointed in how little Jaime Peters has contibuted. I was expecting a lot more of him this season.
This barracking of Matt is stupid though, it's not like hearing the boo boys is going to help his confidence!
It does seem to now be a side issue with Garvan & Williams coming back into the squad. Roberts is going to have to start on the left flank now as Williams will go on the right & Owen & Sylvan in the middle.
OUR MIDFIELD ROCKS WOOOOOO!!!!!!

To give him credit, he was always where the action was yesterday, he did set up Haynes to score the third. I'm not really a big fan, but I wasn't sad enough to boo.
Just never let him take corners again. Let Roberts take them instead... And sign Roberts in January. Please! ;D

Yeah i would never boo him either, on his day he is fine. Hes never going to be outstanding tho, and he misses too many clear cut chances, which we cant afford anymore

Yeah, on his day, he can play well. It's just these past few games he's not really been that good. I guess it's because our midfield's playing well now

i think he does a lot of hard work that the fans don't notice (im not attempting to imply that i pay more attention or know more than the average) but Jim knows what he's doing and De Vos has come out to defend Richards. IMO fans should NEVER boo one of their own.

I think that corner last week against Sheffield Wednesday that kind of got some of the fans against him It was incredibly ridiculous but it doesn't deserve booing. Nobody should ever be booed by their own fans, remember Sam Parkin

He set up the last goal... but that was about it The whole of where I was sitting was practicarly begging for Jim to take him off He also set up the first That was a shocker! Matt dissappoints me as he is evry fit, can deliver a good cross and is a down to earth type, he isn't confident and isn't thinking about his game enough it would appear, stay out wide, track back, use your fitness to chase people down and TACKLE!! He runs like a headless chicken but doesn't end up achieving much I think he should go out on loan to get his confidence up, he hasn't kicked on as hoped and is a bit of a liability right now

Oh yeah! And apart from that dodgy corner against Sheffield Wednesday, where they scored from, and his dodgy defending for Norwich's goal... Well, um... He's always where the action is... (I think this points going to be repeated by me for ages... )

Not forgetting the one against norwich which didnt even make it to the goal! We had 12 corners and didnt get anything from them, its something the whole team needs to work on

Ah yes the one that went out after he'd tried curling it in, and then the Norwich fans started singing; "What the f***ing hell was that?" And I think the rest of us were thinking that too
