Probably because he wanted to stay up north, didn't his wife have twins or something? Shame though. Would've liked to have seen him back

She did, but it was thought that he was only concerned about staying put before they were born. Perhaps the draw of playing for a team with a genuine promotion chance...

Yeah but Mrs Miller doesn't want to move away from the North....and is unlikely to want Tommy to do a runner south so soon after the birth. I would have been very surprised if he came here tbh after what was said when he left (wife wanting to be up north...that gets amplified after a new addition!)

I understand that he hasn't come because Suplle's injured, and we had to get Pollitt in on loan as cover, which uses our last emergency loan?

In an attempt to make Jim look the newbie he's only succeded in showing up his own inexperience - prat, he can keep his players imho! I was not impressed with those comments
