Must say, a good 2,500 - 3,000 of those were Palace Fans. All credit to them, they were fantastic... just a shame they have the loudest part of the ground, they drowned us out most the game, as happens alot these days.
As long as the gates average around the 22,000 mark i will be pleased.

Tis a very decent gate to get considering and your supporters obviously have faith in the team's abilities still. Oh and the signing of Dan Harding of course! ;D

I think the majority of Ipswich fans genuinely have a feeling of progress this year under Magilton. Yesterday was encouraging. |

Yeah after watching the hightlights this mornin i noticed some of the grounds were half full at best

People were saying the same about Ricardo Fuller - we seemed to reenergize hbis career - hopefully the same will happen again. If we build a semi solid defence, this team can go places

i think our budget is based on gates of 21,500 so to get nearly 4000 more then that can only be good for our bank balence, good from a PR view etc

rubbish. though i suppose the gate would have been lower opening day if the palace fans hadnt swelled it. bit let down by the ipswich fans.
