Hey Ipswich fans, we have just signed Ian Westlake from you guys. Could you tell us anything about him please? Is he any good, was he an important player for you? He looks like a promising player what with the age factor in all but obviously we haven't heard too much about him  |

no he isn't. he will sign for leeds, Harding going the other way. bargain for Leeds there, I don't understand this one.

he's at leeds in talks
he hasn't agreed
sos - when i read it i thought the leeds guy was joking
guess he will confirm terms and become a leeds player tho
likewise - i dont get this AT ALL
i bet the fee is bugger all plus Harding,,,,,,,,,,,,,, who leeds fans think is a pile of wank

Well sure westy is good, but we still have good quality midfield talent, and strenghening our defence is surely the priority? We also have alex bruce as a holding mid or centre back, with one more player to sign, possibly mc shane? I think losing one player for 3 positive additions will be a good deal

id like 2 see a midfielder come in though 2 replace him
then i'll be happy

in theory yea but midfield didn't get a grip on games last season too often and I don't see how selling one of our best young players is going to help.

how much + Harding do u think Leeds will have offered ?

us financial mess - will put it down
but i think he's signed up till 2008
has played for england under 21's, good player, held in quite high regard by most ppl that i have spoke 2 that have nowt 2 do with ipswich
ie - support man utd etc
id say £1.25 mill wud be an acceptable fee
but i bet we got harding who i aint heard much positive about n £200,000 or so
which will not go down well with many Ipswich fans
jus me opinion

We are after your goalie too....Supple isnt it? He was good at your ground last season when we drew, i liked him |

mind u we have Lewis - same again
neither of their kicking is great - keeper wise id say both - brilliant lil young keepers !!!
Supple ,,,,,,,, i wud want around £1 mill for myself
but due 2 us mess,,,, i reckon u cud get him for £500,000
we're jus up shit street sadly
