So Bertin has been handed a second week, with Healy and Bopp unlikely to come back
apparently he's good at breaking up attacks which sounds great !
cud be a handy signing, 26 isn't a terrible age
donno what the rest think.......?

Why not? Obviously doesn't sound too bad, but do we NEED another midfielder? Lack of english may be a problem though...

example - gerrard/ lampard are free scoring , coz look who holds for them
xabi alonso / makelele...........
potentially westlake / garvan cud be IF sum1 wud hold, which is why a holding player is more essential 2 us than a free scoring player right now

Well it's looking good for him atm...
I haven't watched many games as I would have liked last season (saw a couple on tv and was at Portman Road when we beat Leicster 2-0). We seemed to cope OK, but I spsoe someone to break down the attacks would be good, and Jim says he's got something that no-one else in the team has at the moment. I'll back Jim on this one, he does sound fairly promising

if not - try n get a similar player of better quality i guess !
he's got a few months 2 learn the language tho !!

I thought Skard was supposed to be a big strong defensive midfielder as well? Wonder if we we will see anything of him this season?

I thought Skard was supposed to be a big strong defensive midfielder as well? Wonder if we we will see anything of him this season? Apparently Skard isn't very good  he doesn't position himself well at all, runs with enthusiam but a bit clueless. Its a shame as he sounded like what we needed. Someone has to fill the role at the club and if Skard cant why not Bertin then, sounds like he's done well! I wouldn't mind Bopp having a shot, sounded like he had real pedigree and potential...misplaced at Forest as some fans loved him and other's loathed him. I'd be quite happy to swap Currie for Dan Harding, bring in Bertin and replace the creative role vacated by Currie with Bopp. Bopp has a heap of pace and is still very young. Currie does some things well put is getting on and the fact he hasn't agreed to new terms speaks volumes imho  Hi everyone btw  |
