Well all the speculation is over and Jim Magilton is the new Boss.
I heard from a very reliable source from within Portman Road why Joe Royal left.
The conversation between Joe and Sheepshanks went like so:
Sheepshanks:- Well Joe how do you think the season went?
Joe:- Well considering the circumstances, not to bad, but for next season we need to get some new players in.
Sheepshanks:- Sorry Joe there just isn't the money.
Joe:- Well we will have to sell Garvin and Supple.
Sheepshanks:- We can't do that Joe, the fans will not stand for it, they would rather see you go.
Joe:- I'll get my coat.
Apparently it was an ammicable agreement.
So there is no money, and Jims got a 2 year contract.
This is a massive gamble but the guy is Town through and through, he showed more passion when on the subs bench than Joe ever did.
I wish him well and now I don't have to change my name.
So lets look forward to next season, and give Town our full support. Who knows we may all be surprised.
