Youngest manager in the Fizzy Pop league.
Expected? Liked? How well will he do?

give the guy a chance i think. could surprise everyone (in a good way). and at least there was no compensation to pay.

Hmmmm So Jim's still going to play at reserve level. Not sure this is a good idea. That's all town want is an injured manager. Jim give the old arthritic toe a rest. Jason Devos as captain, good call but who will be he second in command, Bam Bam gets my vote.

i imagine his approach is going to be much more hand on than the average manager considering up to now he was a player (obviously) so playing for reserves might work and if not im sure he'd realise. Post match interviews are going to be much more interesting now with Jim. Can't see any other candidates other than Naylor for vice capatain.

I'm not going to judge just yet, wait until a game has been played then I'll let my opinions out.

Then i think its a great move for you, On boxing day last year we (Stockport County) were 5 points adrift at the bottom of L2 and had just lost to local rivals Macc Town 6-0. Our manager at the time Chris Turner got sacked and we looked doomed untill former stockport hero Jim Gannon (played for us for 10 years and is only 39 now) got the job and he got us about 39 points in about 23 games. Ok that little story may not apply to you guys but what im saying is a former player has a passion for a club that any other manager does not.

That's the nice part And he knows the team, as does Klug, but I'll say it again, I'm going to wait until a ball has actually been kicked at Portman Road to judge this management team.
