can you defrost a frozen gateux that says leave at room temp for 3 hours in a microwave for like 5 mins? or will this destroy it/make it unedible?

i put it in for 4 minutes, it was rock solid, put in for a further 3 minutes, walked off and when i came back it was a puddle
