Shit, I hope he's not out for long, he was the only real light of the pre-season, something that could give us that last bit of quality. We need more new players.

Let's all think positive!!
He'll just be out for a week or two, then be back and ready to help leeds storm this league! ;D
On an unrelated topic: Any news on the Bakke and Sully injuries from the weekend??

Cant see Nicholls being out for just 2-3 weeks - more like 2-3 months at the least ! Not sure about Bakke n Sully though I think they were just taken off as a precaution - My bet is that apart from Nicholls everyone will be fit for the start of the season against Norwich !!
Now thats positive :-)

I think you're right - but am still praying that it's not as bad as it seems!
Oh well - I'm still positive about the coming season though, and when Nicholls does come back to the team it will give us a lift part-way through the year!
More positve thinking!!!

Finger's crossed, we'll all find out the extent of the injury tomorrow:
United boss Kevin Blackwell is waiting on the results of a scan on Kevin Nicholls' knee injury.
The £700,000 signing from Luton had a scan on Monday, but the results are unlikely to be known until tomorrow.
The midfielder took part in United's photo-call at Elland Road today and is hopeful he won't be sidelined for too long.
The manager described the injury as "serious" - it is suspected medial ligament damage - but the full extent of the injury won't be known until the scan results come through.
