Richard Cresswell and Stephen Crainey will miss the Championship Play-Off Final through suspension.
The duo were red-carded during Monday's semi-final second leg win over Preston at Deepdale but were hoping referee Mike Thorpe would review both decisions.
However, the FA have now advised Leeds that they are unable to appeal against a yellow card shown to one of their players, meaning Kevin Blackwell will be without the pair for the final on May 21.
Crainey picked up his first booking on the hour for time wasting before being dismissed eight minutes later for a 'foul' on David Nugent.
Cresswell was cautioned almost immediately after coming on for Rob Hulse for dissent with nine minutes left before being sent off in stoppage time for supposedly kicking the ball away.

We'll be ok, Killa played at left back against Watford earlier in the season and did ok, so if Butler can get fit it time and play along side Gregan, then that could be a possibility. We've still got Danny Pugh trying to get back in the first team if not who could play left back leaving Killa and Gregan central. I think it's too a big a game to consider Dan Harding there though.
Strikerwise, Hulse is looking sharp and dangerous again, (and more importantly scoring). With the choice of Blake and Healy available to partner Hulse, (and Beckford and Moore for cover), we have a more than adequate squad to take on and hopefully beat Watford.
Marching on to the Premiership!!!
