Oh my!
I can't tell you how excited I am. I'm sat in my Uni library acting a bit giddy lol. I just want it to be 7.45 right now! It's weird. i'm feeling multiple emotions all at the same time...excitement, apprehension, nervousness, scared...argh! It's amazing just how far Leeds have come. 2 years ago this week we were relegated and that felt so awful, and then we had all that shit with ex managers, players and Ridsdale (spit), and then came the worry that we might not even exist. And now look where we are, us and the boys are (maybe) heading back to the Premiership, back to the promised land, back to show other fans, players and managers alike that we have survived!
What Kevin Blackwell has done for our club is just immense, he took the job when no-one else would, and prevented us from dropping down to obscurity and prevent us being even more of a laughing stock! Yeah some of his tactics have been questionable (and some of his signings!), but, oh gosh, I think I love him!
On On On!

Very excited, but this Sky Sports preview brought me back down to earth:
Shot-shy Leeds United look to turn the tables on Preston North End in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final, live on Sky Sports 1.
Kevin Blackwell's men lost 2-0 at Preston in the final game of the regular season last week, while the Elland Road fixture finished 0-0 in early November.
Leeds are also on a dire run of having scored just four goals in their last nine games and Blackwell will ring the changes for Friday night's encounter.
After making eight changes for last Sunday's trip to Deepdale, Blackwell could make as many alterations again for the match which has attracted a bumper crowd.
The likes of Eddie Lewis, Rob Hulse, Gary Kelly, Shaun Derry, Stephen Crainey and Liam Miller are all tipped to return to the starting line-up.
Eirik Bakke is also available for the game, while there have been rumours that Preston old boy Richard Cresswell is in contention.
One player definitely missing for the hosts, though, is captain Paul Butler, who has torn a calf muscle.
In contrast to Leeds, Preston are in splendid form and are on an unbeaten run of eight games, having conceded just twice in that period.
Billy Davies was also named Manager of the Month for April and his players head across The Pennines full of confidence.
The visitors are in a strong condition, with David Nugent pressing for a starting spot after coming on as a late substitute last week.
He could replace either Danny Dichio or Brett Ormerod, while Brian O'Neil, Callum Davidson and Marcus Stewart are all available for selection.
Davies only has long-term absentees Andy Lonergan, Adam Nowland and Andy Smith missing from his squad as he looks for a first-leg advantage.

I must look a fool to anyone I see today... I'm am giddy with excitement too, tonight is going to be incredible. I am more excited about this than I was when Barcelona came to Elland Rd, or even Valencia in the semi final. The prize for winning our next three games is absolutely huge.
To be honest tonight feels like a European game with all the hype and excitement. Even if Leeds were to get to the league cup final or FA Cup final I don't think it could compare to how excited I am about promotion at the moment.
I feel ten years younger today (than my ancient 33 years) and have a bounce in my step despite feeling nervous as hell. I love Leeds United and can't wait to see a full house tonight to show the rest of the country just what we can be again!

Right... I'm all showered and changed already... working the rest of the day from home and doing very little other than watching the clock until it's time to set off. Just 4 hours 50 minutes to go until kick off ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
