I don't know, i just don't think the players are playing to the best of their ability, KB always goes on about how they put in tons of effort but i haven't seen it.....
Lewis is meant to be one of the best in this league on the left but he hasn't tried taking his man on in the past 3 home games..
Our strikers havent scored as many goals as they should have done, us having supposedly one of the best strikeforces in the championship....
We're in the position that we expected to be in at the start of the season but there still hasnt been a game where all the players have played well or where the team has played well for 90 mins......

i agree, especially with the Eddie Lewis part. He has the ability, theres no doubt, few months back he was our best player by far, our key outlet to provide for the strikers, but now he doesnt take people on as much, maybe loss of confidence? i dont know, but KB needs to get him up for it once again and he can show what hes capable of at this vital time.

i dont think the formation Blackwell suits the players we have....... we should play 4-4-2 so we can give Blake/Healy games in their proper positions instead of in wider positions....... it would also bring more balance to the team.....
heres what i would play....
Gk-Sully Lb-Crainey Cb-Killa Cb-Butler/Gregan (too similar) Rb-Kelly Lm-Pugh- Lewis has been playing shite Cm-Derry Cm-Miller Rm-Richardson-Back to fitness St-Hulse St-Healy
Subs:Bennett, Gregan/Butler, Bakke, Griffiths/Lewis, Blake

Healy admitted himself he's a winger (see Leeds' crossbar challenge) so stick him on the right of the attacking 3, Blake on the left and Hulse leading the line (hopefully by example but i'll have to get abck to you on that...) Midfield of Derry, Miller and Douglas, lets face it, Eddie Lewis needs to buck up his ideas, better yet, give himself an almighty thwack up the arse. And ta daaa..you have..exactly what you had before..shit.

i reckon Healy was either joking or taking the piss when he said that, we bought him as a striker cause he scores goals not as a winger....

True enough but he's been so poor of late (ok some may argue he has been all season but he constantly hugs the touchline!!

Griffiths impressed me in the 20 or so minutes he got at Elland Rd recently, and I'd like to see Pugh given a chance now that Lewis is suffering a dip in form and also the fact that Pugh grabbed a goal in the reserves last week. I've been saying for weeks I'd like to see Beckford and Blake start up front at the expense of Hulse as he is out of form. (All this talk about how it's the midfield not producing chances for him is rubbish. While the midfield haven't been great recently also, they HAVE created Hulse with several chance he's failed to take EVERY game. Sorry Hulsey, but it's time to shake things up and try something different.) Healy is on the bench as I don't think I've seen him perform in a single game he's started, but he is useful in the super sub capacity.
