sorry but i have to say it that some people on this board are losing the plot: The race for promotion: yes its dissapointing that we are blowing our chance for second place, but less than a year and a half ago, we were almost bust, less than two years ago, we had one fit first team player. KB: for fuck sake get off his back, we had nothing when he became manager and now look at us, he made a team out of fuck all and helped stabalised the club, since ken bates came in weve done remarkably well, most people expected us to do a sheff wed. players: there are some players at the club who need to buck there ideas up, but shut the fuck up about slagging off rob hulse, gregan, CRAINEY and miller (how can people say anything about his performances i do not know) Rob hulse puts effort into every game he plays, its not his fault he hasnt had good service, crainey was our worst player at the beggining of the season, he is now much improved and there is no whay i would have pugh or harding in his place, (pugh should be given a chance instead of lewis) Miller is a contender for player of the season and to say that he has been playing badly recently is a joke, gregan messed up once or twice today but is our inform defender, at the minute id rather have him in there than killa, notice that we got a clean sheet? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? im sorry if people get pissed off at this but it seems to me that alo of you are getting blinkered. before anyone says anything like 'yea but hulse has been shit recently....' shut up, get to a match and see the truth

Gregs didn't put a foot wrong, notice they only had not more than 3 shots on target. Derry let Gallagher in..
Hulse got the service he normally thrives on and played more headers to Stoke players than Dubes himself who had him in his pocket.
Miller is a good player, no doubting that, but too often he goes missing, he can have a much bigger influence if he gets consistancy..
KB is NOT a manager, he's a fucking coach. 3yr contract was perhaps a mistake..we need a manager, but fair play, he earned his chips..

Calm down coachiola! At the moment a hell of a lof of people are pissed off about how things have changed this past 4 games. Being passionate manifests itself in different ways and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Doesn't mean they love the club any less than the next person.
For me, I have disliked Healy from day one. Have always backed KB but am beginning to wonder whether he has the tactical nous to change from plan A (a la Sven).
I do agree with you that where we are now is a miracle considering where we were the start of last season. However, the performances of some of the players leaves a lot to be desired.

Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell: "Everyone has got to realise that no job is safe at the club - people need to step up to the plate. "All we can do is keep going and stay focused on ourselves. There will be some twists and turns yet.
"It's up to me to make sure we don't run out of steam, if you want that Premiership spot you need big courage."
Well he's kind of got the idea to give the players a kick up the arse but not quite.
This is your chance to shine Blackwell!

Only just got back as went to the pub after the game and not read the match threads yet, so apologies if I repeat anything that was already said. I just wanted to post in support of coachiolalufc as I agree with most of his points.
I'm disappointed after today's performance as this is a game we should have won comfortably bearing in mind our respective league positions. Stoke didn't cause us too many problems as the game progressed, but Leeds didn't create anywhere near enough chances. It was just another one of "those days".
Gregan was immense again today, man of the match for me. It was nice to hear the kop chanting his name, (especially after the general slagging off he's put up with for so long until his re-emergence in the squad when Killa got injured. Since then, he's been a different player).
It was good to see Joel Griffiths get his first start, he looks as though he is very good and well worth the wait. He's fast, can tackle, and his late show of skill in winning the ball and moving forward was a delight to see. Beckford also looks like he's shaping up to be a great addition to the squad - I certainly hope so as he's got a great personality and has all the makings of becoming the next Leeds hero.

Steady on there..Beckford has a hell of a lot to learn, but yes, give him time and he'll do well. Final ball today = poor. Finishing = there wasn't any..nuff said.

I just really want Beckford to do well at Leeds. It's not often that such a nice guy with such excitment and passion for the game gets such a huge break and he's totally won me over with his positive attitude and general lust for life.

im all in praise for blackwell, hes done a teriffic job - no denying that. but he IS a coach not a manager, his tactics are often questionable to say the least, and squad selection, e.g pugh who was one of, if not the best performer last season hasnt even got a look in this season!
