Open to ALL fans
Don't take into consideration the playoffs as they are yet to be decided......basis of this is solely on the league from start to finish without the playoffs included.
As a club can we deem our season a success or failure?
I know it might sound stupid as everything hinges on promotion but on the whole should we be content with how the club has progressed and be perhaps, realistic that maybe we were not ready to go up.

Success, we're where we thought we would be at the start of the season albeit we have played poor all season....... Yes but with the players we have aqiured we've under performed, we've grown stonger as a squad of players but not greatly improved our performances (KB's fault I guess). So I voted the middle one and I can't see any real justification for voting for either of the other two options.

I have also voted for adequate, I think most Leeds fans after the first ten games of the season would have taken a comfortable play off place. Its only recently that Sheff Utd have been in touching distance and the fact that Leeds have let them go again as riled a lot of fans and their thinking. I know the expectation is high at ER but to come back from the brink of collapse as Leeds have done is a credit to all who our currently at the club, rebuilding takes time and as you are all only too painfully aware is not necessarily resolved by throwing money at any player that takes the boss's fancy. That all said I hope your poor run goes on for one more game I don't fancy a repeat of the hammering you gave us at our place.

I have to say this season has been a success in my opinion. At christmas last year we were looking at been in a real relagation scrap we were 3rd from bottom. By Christmas this year we had just picked up maximum points over the christmas period and were 3rd from top. With a team full of new players i think that is nothing short of amazing, the team have had no time to gel, that has had to be done as the season went on. Granted the football hasn't been pretty at times but we have grounded out results, and for spells in games played some of the best football i've seen at elland road in the last 3 years. If we don't go up this season (which many people didn't expect us to anyway) it won't be a disaster, it will just get the players hungry to do it next season.
That was a bit sensible for me!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I voted the second option - "adequate but could have done better". At the start of the season I would have been chuffed to be joint third on points settled in the playoff positions. That said, after we closed the gap right up to the Blades a few weeks ago, I started to believe we could grab second, so while overall I am satisfied with the progress made this season, I can't help but feel slightly disappointed. Hopefully, we'll get promoted through the playoffs, and my memories of this season will be that it was a resounding success.. who knows?

It's been adequate! Had Blackwell an ounce of tactical know-how and a Plan B and Plan C as back-up then it could have been a lot better.
Did all the hard work to get withing touching distance of the Blades - and the team (and I blame Blackwell) - fucked it up big time. Can't score - completely lacking creativity and relying on dodgy refereeing decisions to earn our points recently.
