Thats not nice news to hear LL and i wish the guys in hospital all the best in pulling through. The only thing i would say at this time is that we do not know how it happened and it doesn't say that it was Leeds fans involved so i will reserve my judgement till i here a bit more news on the case. What do you think?

Beat me to it Hulse. For all we know they could be Leeds fans from Leicester. Hopefully not football related anyway.

What do you think? Yeah I just posted it on the Leeds board because I'd told you about it yesterday. I know a few Leicester fans are jumping to conclusions but I'm not one of them. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything else. Fingers crossed it isn't football related.

Cheers for holding back your judgement.....its too easy sometimes to judge too early....innocent before being prooven guilty and all that. Lets hope your right and the incident isn't linked to football. To the guys in hospital, get well soon.

echo all that has been said. Hope the guys get well soon - one of my friends was stabbed last year and I wouldn't want anyone else to go threough what he and his family did. Certainly hope Leeds fans weren't involved, and we shall wait and see what comes of this.

Updated story, still not much information though:
A police investigation is continuing after two men sustained stab wounds in an incident near to the Goose Public House on Hotel Street, Leicester shortly after 7pm on Saturday February 18.
The two men, who are in their 20s and from Leicester, were taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where they are still undergoing treatment. They are both described as being in a stable condition.
Two men, aged 41 and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident on Saturday night. The 41-year-old man was later released without charge.
A third man, aged 22, was arrested on Sunday February 19.
Both he, and the 25-year-old man, have now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Hotel Street was closed on Saturday night and the scene cordoned off to allow for a full forensic examination. The cordon was lifted at 12.30pm on Sunday February 19.
Officers are still speaking with people who were in the area at the time to piece together the circumstances that led to the incident. CCTV footage of the area is also being examined.
Local paper says Police are refusing to say where the attackers are from, I really hope this doesn't mean what I think it might.
