Last night the players trained at the stadium which was followed by a Q&A with Martin Allen and Milan. It was free so I went but was actually quite entertaining. Allen could probably do a decent job as a stand up comedian were football not to take off. The Q&A seemed a bit sanitised, we learnt nothing new. Questions about McKay et al., the PHG etc noticeable by their absence. Plus birch kept asking the same questions. Key points: - 2 or 3 more signings to come - probably left sided defender to be 1 of them. - Money at Christmas if we go up. - Milan wants to extend the ground if we go and stay up. - Hume penalty taker, Clemence, Kishishev and Sheehan for free kicks. Clemence captain. - The players spent yesterday doing ordinary jobs around the stadium. A good night though and I'm optimistic for the season!

It's an innovative idea to get the fans more involved in the football club, but given that all the questions had to be submitted prior to the event there's plenty of time for censorship.
Great to hear Milan's vision for the future though - he seems very willing to put his money where his mouth is. Perhaps extending the ground though would be better reserved until such time as we can actually fill it!

Our club have such a lack of imagination. 'One Team - One Dream,' this season's slogan....clearly just lifted and slightly changed from the Beijing Olympics' 2008 slogan....'One World - One Dream.'
