Well I was most shocked that we didn't get an absolute spanking today but Derby were terrible, I think we caught them on an off day ;D Can't be doing with a big essay, just player ratings: Henderson 6 Handled the crosses well but had a surprisingly quiet afternoon. Stearman 4 Truly awful but a vitally important challenge near the end which might have saved the point. Was absolutely knackered at the end, clearly not match fit which probably hindered him from the start. Kenton 4 Not at all convincing at centre-back either on the floor or in the air. Kisnorbo 8 Good stuff from the Skip, had so much responsibility in the match but he handled it well and even distributed the ball a bit better than normal. Should have won a penalty for being mauled by Moore and denied a clear header at goal. Maybury 6 Offered absolutely zero going forward, but credit where credit is due, he tackled and battled well in what is an un-natural position for him. Hughes 2 Not worthy of a place anywhere near the first 16, he was an embarrassment today. It comes to something when the majority of the home crowd cheer when he got substituted ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Jarrett 7 A goal saving tackle and generally one of his better games in the blue and white of Leicester City, drove forward well but just lacked the creativity to find a telling pass. Tiatto 8* He may well be on his way at the end of the season, but he was 100% committed to the cause today, chased and battled for everything in the middle. One of his better games for us, his movement was an example to the rest of the players and he was inspirational today - that's what passion means. Porter 5 Starved of the ball in the first half and offered little more than defensive assistance. Second half he got more possession but only one ball to run onto and then should've won the game with late on, only to produce a top class save from Bywater. Hammond 3 It didn't help his cause the fact that we played long ball from the off but he's still dog shite. Hume 7 Stuck to his task well, got a huge elbow to the face from Darren Moore in the first half (how on earth did he stay on the pitch) and a good, curling effort in the second half that went agonisingly over the top. Subs: Fryatt 8 Looked quite sharp for his time off and reminded us what a quality finisher looks like. I hope Kelly doesn't play him for the 90 minutes on Monday, he needs working back in gently. Yeates 4 We did look a threat with him on the pitch but he's pretty god damn awful.

Just a few comments in reaction to yours though: YES, it should have been a penalty - stone wall in my opinion, but it would have been more than you deserved for your inept first half! MOORE: his forearm smash was no better or worse than the one Giles Barnes copt for in the second half. I think Moore had HUME in his pocket to be honest and HUME ended up being less effective after he started gunning for 'Big Dave' instead of playing! Hume does himself no favours by diving and falling over every five minutes, and this was agreed by Ally Mauchlen at half time. Had you got a centre half like darren Moore you'd probably be mid table right now. Yes he's clumsy, yes he's big but he aint dirty! I thought Jarret was your best player today, he was competive and hard working in the middle of the park, though Tiatto was his usual 'tough tackling' self. All in all a fair result, though i thought you were there for the taking with half an hour to go. Ho Hum, we both live to fight another day! Ive some pictures of our corporate do on the derby boards, so go have a look! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

P.S - had a good chat with ALLY MAUCHLEN today - what a sound bloke! we had some cracking banter!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Also had a brief chat with Matt Elliott - he thought he was big til he saw me! Nice fella though! Good day all round really, shame the game was a bit of a let down!

I haven't read it all yet, but to be honest, we have played like that nearly all season! I told you it would be likely to be a draw, I'm glad we didn't lose

And about Hume, I think if we'd have played more football (i.e. along the ground) we could've exploited your back 4 a bit more. With all due respect, Moore is not the best footballer technically, and with the pace we had up front, we should've been able to use him to our advantage. Instead we persisted to play long ball, 90% of which Leacock and Moore won comfortably. That was probably the best I've seen Jarrett play, he played with real intent today, not the lacklustre attitude I'm used to seeing! That last ditch tackle was an absolute beauty as well. I expected way more 'hoofs' from Darren Moore to be honest, and I heard a few ironic cheers when he passed the ball ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Hey LL, i was looking in the 'complimentary programme' at your away support this season which is massively down on past years - you only took 400+ to cardiff etc!! where've they all gone, cos you used to take plenty everywhere?? ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

It's terrible really considering we have the 2nd least furthest total travel to away games (I think) but I guess if we started getting better results on a more consistent basis then fans would start flocking to away games? ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Nothing can keep me away from them anyway!! ;D
