FOXES FIFTH Hi Martin, In terms of winning silverware (European trophies, Premiership, FA Cup and& League Cup) we know that the 'big four' of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have dominated these competitions over the past 10 years. But who are the fifth most successful English team in the last 10 years in terms of silverware? Hope you can help this debate! Ben Owen, Fleet, Hampshire ![](http://home.skysports.com/images/playerpics06_07/Shows/leicestercarling.jpg) MARTIN SAYS: That's a good question Ben and thanks, as you say, to the big four's domestic dominance there have not been too many other sides to get their hands on any silverware in the past 10 years. In fact, as well as winning every Premiership title between them in that time (United five times, Arsenal three and Chelsea twice), those four have also won the last 10 FA Cup as well (Arsenal four times, the others twice), which leaves the League Cup as the only possible path to glory for the rest. Up until this season, when Chelsea have of course won the League Cup, you might be surprised to know that in the past 10 years Leicester City are England's fifth most successful club with their two wins in that competition. Under the guidance of Martin O'Neill they lifted the trophy in 1997 and 2000, which just pips Middlesbrough (2004), Blackburn (2002) and Tottenham (1999), who have all won it once each. ;D

I think "officially" is pushing it a bit somewhat ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) At least this is over the last ten years and not the usual 'big' club story of, "Oh, we won twenty trophies eighty years ago!" ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) Does this mean you're not a big club any more?! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
