Thats shareholder and former board member James Johnson or something like that. ;D Anyway theres an interview with him on the foxes moan in at 6pm tomorrow. Foxes Trust say it will be an 'interesting day.' Now hes in charge of a London law firm so the guy's not stupid so I doubt he's just coming on the radio just to slate MM and have a wild rant. However, not being on the board anymore I doubt he's bound by the same confidentiality agreements as others. Nonetheless I doubt he's speaking just to stir. Some people on forums reckoning he might be willing to submit a different offer?? Either that or he's just trying to explain himself which is what I think. This whole saga gets worse by the day.

It can only be a good thing in my opinion - we may now know some of the finer parts to the deal.

Nope!
He did nothing but contradict himself all the way through it.
So his reasons I think from that are there are no guarantees Mandaric will act in the club's best interests, and he would prefer the club to be in local hands.
He accepts we need money, not just because it would be nice, but urgently for the club to survive. He accepts there is only one offer on the table and that the possibility of any others is only very small. Who gives a toss if local businessmen own it or not, if theres no money come from then its not a possibility! Local businessmen have ploughed absolutely bugger all in since admin so theres only one way we are gonna go! Down!
If its the only realistic option, why can't he accept it!?

Foxes Trust on Talking Balls: "We have had dialogue with James Johnson today & he agreed with the posts that the details broadcast were bland. Apparently he did reveal more about this reasons for not backing the deal, but RL were advised legally not to broadcast it. Hopefully this will help explain why we have previously tried to give as much detail as we can to fans, and reflect shareholders did have real concerns with the bid. We are optimistic of the takeover being complete this week, although we still haven't had the official final bid document as yet, so timescales are getting tight again." _ _ _ _ optimistic - surely not!
