Luton legend Mick Harford has been appointed as the new manager, according to 3 Counties Radio.
I have to admit, I think this is a bit of a 'heart ruling head' appointment by 2020, and I expect we'll go down now. However, I'll still support him fully, and begin 'judgement' next season.
New owners (hopefully), new board, new manager - onwards and upwards, brave Hatters!

Good you've got a manager now, now you can go forwards, at least Harford wont spend half his time moaning to the media.

what if the new owners don't want him I assume he's their appointment, given how quickly he's come in - they must have approached him while the bidding was still being decided. If not, they'll have to pay his contract off or give him a chance!

I feel sorry for him in some ways, but a lot of my sympathy I may have had for him was lost when he shifted into 'blame everyone except me' mode. Yes, he seems to be a good manager, and has had it tough, but refusing to accept there's a problem of his own making curries no favour with me (and saying all he did about the fans didn't help either).

Harford was in temporary charge of QPR earlier this season and did a brilliant job, loads of our fans wanted him to get the job permo. Looks like a good choice of manager to me.

The appointment of Mick Harford as caretaker manager was made by the Administrator, who presumably now thinks he can afford him. It's also temporary until the end of the season. There is no word as to whether 2020 want Mick to continue or not. They'll probqably wait until the whole deal is signed and sealed (end of Feb/march)
I think it's a good appointment for now. He'll definitely do his best to keep us up, whethher he'd make a good long term manager I'm not so sure. As a coach though, he's top class.
"we're staying up"
