Apparently, the bookies have got Luton pegged at 40/1 for promotion next season, which puts us equal 13th in the table with teams such as Hull and Plymouth.
I can't honestly see us getting promoted - certainly not in the auto spots, at any rate - but surely we're better than that?!

I think you've got a point there, bluey69, but we maybe could do as well as last season, mid-table finish.
I think we all know we could do with a new ground, that's a given; meanwhile it'll be our little fortress!

i'd saw 13th seems about right, though you should finish higher than hull and plymouth

Personally, I think 10th sounds a bit better... I know we were a surprise package and all that (let's face it, that doesn't count for an entire season, only the flying start!), but aside from our traditional slumps at christmas and easter, we weren't too bad last season. Certainly, our home form was equivalent to that of the play-off teams, and Newell's said he reckons he can fix our away form - and let's face it, if you don't have faith in your manager, you've got no chance!
Like I said, I'm not expecting promotion this season, but 13th seems a little harsh to me.
(Besides, we've gotten rid of Showumni now - that means we can have a real footballer in the first 11! ;D)
