Barnsley supporters' trust are considering staging a demonstration outside Leicester's Walkers Stadium when the sides meet in the Coca-Cola Championship next weekend.
The Tykes, who are preparing for Sunday's visit of West Brom, could find themselves without a single away fan inside the ground on Saturday after the trust also called for a boycott of the match.
They are furious the Foxes have heavily discounted tickets for their own fans but not for away supporters.
The Yorkshire club have pleaded with fans to ignore the boycott, mooted in a statement from the trust, which read: "The trust would urge all Barnsley supporters to boycott the game and write to Leicester to protest at these ticketing arrangements.
"In addition, the trust are interested to hear views on a peaceful demonstration outside the Walkers Stadium to show our disappointment on Leicester's pricing."
Barnsley in turn released their own statement, which read: "Leicester will be running a special discount for home supporters at this game, which they are perfectly entitled to do under Football League regulations.
"Barnsley FC would urge all fans to travel to Leicester and show their backing for Simon Davey and his team at the Walkers Stadium."
Know anything about this?

They dont take many fans anywhere anyway, but there will be the same people week in week out who will be watching the team I suppose. Atleast your not forcing them to pay 31 quid

"Worst support we've ever seen"- even though there was 3000, couldnt hear them at all!

So to pay it at Leicester is by no means out of the way. I have heard nothing of the so called boycott. But it will be the usual suspects who are making the noises. Us Yorkshiremen are by design tight-fisted but £22 is the going rate and nobody is forcing them to pay. My awayday trips are very limited nowadays due to my heavy involvement in local Junior Football and I have not had the pleasure of the Walkers Stadium. But the pies at Filbert Street were shit.

But the pies at Filbert Street were shit. £22 is the rate that all away fans pay at our ground and that home fans have to too mostly. And seemingly Leicester are entitled to offer these local promotions. However, I think its harsh being as we haven't done this with fans fixtures in the past. Its not on that 2 different sets of supporters should have to pay such hugely different prices to watch the same game in similar seats and stands. Looks set to be a home sell out but it would have been nice to have the place full on all sides of the stadium.

We do the same at Oakwell.
kids for a quid and the like.
Those so called boycotters are not complaining then. Seems a good idea to get the home end full its an important fixture league wise
