Barnsley poised to sign Coulson Scarborough's teenage striker Michael Coulson is set to join Barnsley. Coulson, 18, enjoyed a successful trial spell with the Tykes last season and is poised to complete a move to Oakwell following Scarborough's relegation. "Hopefully we will able to sort out everything out to sign Michael this week," Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie told his club's website. The deal could see a couple of Barnsley's young players join Scarborough on loan next season. Hardly setting my pulse on fire

At last some movement down at Oakwell with Michael McIndoe arriving from Doncaster - a positive signing.
Also Sam Togwell from Palace. Only 4 first team appearances under his belt and spent a period on loan at Port Vale. His bio states he can operate at centre-half or right back. Ritchie has handed him the No.7 shirt and says he will play him in midfield???
Darren Ward - ex Norwich 'keeper has arrived for a trial and will feature in friendly fixture against Peel FC. (Isle of Man)

Mcindoe will do a steady job for you RJFC - he did ok on loan at Derby last season, and has the ability to perform in this league!!
at least you are making signings, we have only got 75% of the (shit) squad that nearly got us relegated last season - im starting to worry!

Could be a battle who finishes bottom then Gres. Us , southend and colchester will definately struggle. Although McIndoe is a good signing we lack a cutting edge up front. With none of our players in the leagues top twenty scoring charts last season. Goalscorers are hard to come by ,but Coppell managed it last season picking up Kevin Doyle for £25,000. So they are out there!
