Swindon Town Res 4 Argyle Res 0 Att: 300ish (away 4ish)
Well what a disappointment, no Clarke, no Akos and no Bo. Tony Pulis obviously wants to ensure that our slim squad does not pick up unnecessary injuries in what is a now pointless (from our point of view) reserves league. Swindon came out looking the brighter and it was clear from the opening stages that realistically there was only ever going to be one outcome. The Argyle side was made up entirely from youth players, a couple of which do show some promise. I am not sure who skippered the side but he matched the vastly more experienced Miglioranzi for the most part in the cente of midfield and I think it was Jamie Laird in the heart the defence kept Christian Roberts quiet though you got the feeling that Roberts could have stepped it up abit if the need had a rose. Other than that I'm struggling to think of anyone who really stepped up to the plate. Still my son enjoyed it (Swindon fan) with Ricky Shakes looking very handy for Town.
Disappointing but understandable.

It is I'm afraid. Forgot about Christian Roberts. A brainless player, no good in a team and I never could stand him...

It is I'm afraid. Forgot about Christian Roberts. A brainless player, no good in a team and I never could stand him... Hit the nail on the head there Pastie, straight from kick off he air kicked just so he could have a go about us incroaching and was the only player on the pitch I heard swear in front of what was basically a crowd of children and he also walked straight off the pitch without shaking hands with anyone. In short a complete and utter c*nt. Ricky Shakes on the other hand looked lively thru out and I wonder if big Geoff might have a word with TP about him.
