I am a bit gutted about Ward returning after the Cov game. He has been a strong player for us and i was hoping we would be able to keep him til the end of the season. What are the odds of WH extending the loan again? They dont need him he is happy with us.

How many more loans are argyle allowed?
Is it something like 4 at any one time?, or a maximum per season?

No idea, but we are going to miss Ward thats for sure! Hopefully this Pericard chap will do ok, bit of a shock I will admit, but then again Pulis has proved something by bringing in Nalis and Ward, so who knows?? As long as we can stay up who cares who we sign!!!!

I wasn't planning on going tomorrow. may change m plans now.
It looks promising. An experienced, young, prem player?
And he might like it down here, and stay next year, and score thirty, and Tesco may give me free beer, and... and.. what? :-D

Tell you what, if we can do combined 'Free beer, and ArgyleChick to be David Norris' personal physio' dream, then I can live with that.
May have to put Halle Berry in there somewhere, but it's workable.

according to 4thegame.com pulis is the one who decided to let ward go back to west ham.
No extension for Ward Friday 10 Feb 2006 Plymouth Argyle manager Tony Pulis has decided not to extend Elliott Ward's loan spell at Home Park.
The 21-year-old West Ham defender moved to the Pilgrims in November and has played in 13 games for the club, but will return to Upton Park after next weekend's Championship clash against Coventry City.
Ward has formed a solid defensive partnership with Mathias Doumbe in recent weeks that has helped to lift Argyle clear of the relegation zone.
Elliott has made 18 appearances for the Hammers and also enjoyed loan spells with Peterborough United and Bristol Rovers in the last 18 months.
shouldn't,t we be trying to hold onto this guy or sign him up permanently

I doubt we could sign him. I expect to see him playing next year at Premiersip level and still doing well.

Think he would be too pricey to be honest for us to sign full-time, but he's been a good chap tp have and good luck to him

Is it that we see ourselves as safe and are saving a wage bill?
Dangerous game if its so...
