QPR are set to increase their January spending by completing the signings of Birmingham striker Rowan Vine and Wigan defender Fitz Hall. Rangers are close to sealing the permanent capture of Vine, 25, after he impressed during a recent loan spell. And Hall, 27, is expected to join the Championship club before the weekend. Ex-Aston Villa keeper Stefan Postma, now with Dutch club ADO Den Haag, and Argentinean winger Sebastian Rusculleda are also in line to join the R's. Rusculleda, 22, plays for Argentine club Tigre and will arrive in London to complete his move next week. QPR have money to spend in the transfer market after a takeover by Formula One magnates Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, which has been followed by investment from steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal. They have already signed Akos Buzsaky from Plymouth, Hogan Ephraim from West Ham, Matt Connolly from Arsenal, Gavin Mahon from Watford and Patrick Agyemang from Preston. Rangers have enquired about a number of other players, including Tottenham winger Wayne Routledge. A bid to re-sign former Rangers defender Dan Shittu from Watford has also been discussed and Birmingham centre-back Martin Taylor remains a target despite competition for his signature from Norwich City.

If this continues QPR will become as hated as Chelsea. Abramovich the crim has pumped up the transfer market lining the pockets of those hoodlum agents & QPR seem set to do the same. How long before we see QPR shirts in Burton or Billingham in five years. No offence but this sort of flagrant flouting the cash gets the back up of opposition fans. As for Shittu no chance. Give us £5M minimum .After all you are the money bags now.

Aye it looks like we are buying players who will form a good team rather than just good individuals.
Delaney on his debut was excellent, Connolly is still very young and is doing well at full back, Fitz Hall is solid and a good buy at Champo level. Agyemang has scored 2 goals in 2 starts and looks excellent, Vine and Buzsaky, well not much needs to be said, both are absolute quality. Mahon, despite Watford fans saying he's rubbish, has come in and done a good job when played, looked a good, solid holding midfielder with a never say die attitude. Keiran Lee from Manchester United is a good back up full back, looks very competent. Ephraim is also a good signing, the kid has such pace and is still only young, a great option coming off the bench.
All that needs to be signed now is a reserve keeper and bring Lee Cook home and I think the foundations will be there for a push up the table.

I reckon he;d do a job at League 2 level though.
