The mighty Blades will kick the premier league season off as the match against Liverpool has been chosen by Sky given that it represents THE game of the opening day. Kick off at 12:45pm means the new PREMIERSHIP season will open at Bramall Lane, just as the championship season opened against Leicester last year. Lets hope the result and ensuing season follows suit, although I somehow cant see it On a personal note, thank God its not been moved to sunday as I go away that day

Not at all suprised BB. As soon as I saw the first day fixtures i knew this would be on the telly. Have an exalt for confirming this for me! Is it on normal sky or Prem Plus? If its on prem plus, this will be an early start in the pub that day!

Normal Sky JGT, so the nation will be tuned in to see our heroes and no doubt cheer them on As for the pub, it will be an early start anyway And its at home JGT, will you not be there, given your comment about which channel its on and getting to the pub?
