Apparently we wanted Dunc on a pay as you play contract and he wanted a regular deal.
Also not a surprise that a £600,000 price on Etuhu is way too much for us.

I think thats fair, you couldnt take Dunc on anything other than pay as you play. We dont have the cash to splash and his injury record+age would suggest we may not get anymore than a sub out of him. I wouldnt be interested in Etuhu anyway

despite Dunc being a thug that would spend most of his time injurd or suspended, for those games he did play, he would cause so much trouble to the opposition he'd be worth signing. Alas i reckon in the end he'll sign for Bolton. After all their game is about set plays, Big Dunc would whoop some candy ass in that team.
