Stoke number one Steve Simonsen is once again attracting a great deal of interest.
The former Everton and Tranmere goalkeeper has kept 11 clean sheets this season and has helped the club concede just 15 goals - currently the best defensive record in the Championship.
Indeed if Simonsen keeps another clean sheet at Coventry on Saturday then that will set a new club record of six in a row.
"I don't know about records," said boss Tony Pulis, "but it's fantastic for us to have so many clean sheets. It's amazing how much easier it is to win matches when you don't concede.
"The whole team is defending, not just the back four, but also we're scoring goals at the other end as well. Long may it continue."
Simonsen has 18 months left on his current deal and Stoke are believed to be keen to secure his signature on a long-term deal.
However, his excellent form has also seen a number of Premiership scouts flock to The Britannia Stadium.
Charlton, Fulham, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Rangers are all believed to have checked on his progress in recent weeks and will have no doubt been impressed.
But with Stoke on the edge of the play-off picture The Potters are highly unlikely to entertain any offers - should any come their way in January.
2 words hands off...
