The old Stadium Halt is long defunct Nik/ Given a decade or so a new rail stop will be developed to the south of the stadium for ease of transport. Right now it would be easier to take the Metropolitan tube to Watford Met go up Shepherds Road up Harwoods Road. Watford Junction you can travel through the town centre down Clarendon Road into the High Street past St.Marys Church & onto Vicarage Road. Slightly longer but not by much.

Erm.... now that you say that ,your brother is right. I never use Watford High Street which is a pretty ramshackle excuse for a station. But just turn left take the path (be careful its often resident to chav yobs) past the Girls Grammar School(fond memories) & carry on & in no time at all (about 3 minutes walk) you'll be at a Gurdwara near Vicarage Road & then just turn left into Vicarage Road. One precinct later you'll be there. Watford Junction terminates at Euston & I'm pretty sure (though it is many a year since I've used that service that a train runs to Watford High Street from there). Sorry for any confusion pal.

Watford has changed matey & not for the better in my opinion. Labour ruined the towns character by destroying much of the old architectural landmarks & throwing in concrete monstrosities whcih are now being pulled down in favour of housing which no one can afford. Typical ... At times the place feels more like Krakow than Watford.
