Looks like Lady Luck did decide to smile on us today with Stewarts deflected free kick. A draw would have been a fair draw. Demerit was a whisker away from converting one of our only decent set pieces. McAnuff fluffed his simple chance in the box whilst Olifinjana had an excellent chance before he converted for Wolves first. Things we need to see are more of a cutting edge upfront. McAnuff was very good first half but once the full back tightened on him he was non existent for most of the second. Priskin. He created a great chance early on if McAnuff had run to the far post like most decent wingers & then was hauled off . This is no way to improve his confidence . Why Rinaldi is not laying is a mystery. He can provide the ground passes Tamas thrives on. However Tamas does need to throw himself in more like Henderson did ruffling up Breen & Ward. Kabba did get the penalty however his attitude sucks. We also need to improve set piece delivery. It was shocking & these are so called professionals. Do they practise ? We definitely need to sign a backup winger for McAnuff & Smith ie Egales on loan .Hoskins has looked sharp in preseason so theres more than enough cover upfront. I want to see Rinaldi in midfield with Priskin. It can go either of two ways. Either Tamas bucks up or falls by the wayside. Hennessy was outstanding for the Wolves & Keogh & Kightley were livewires upfront if a bit lightweight. Breen was hopeless & the midfield lacks pace & creativity as far as I can see. Mahon looked quite comfortable .I rest my case. Chin up POC LondonWolf & co. It is three points dropped which all count but the true picture should start to emerge after the end of September.
