ALL fans who are attending Saturday's game with Ipswich Town in The Rookery Stand will notice that things have changed!
Rookery concourse pre-development An old view of the lower councourse shows how the space narrowed creating congestion for fans on matchdays
The first stage of work in the ground redevelopment plan is well underway and you will already see that the concourses are bigger.
Along with these improvements, the toilet facilities are being upgraded, although that work is far from finished and you will notice further improvements in the weeks to come.
At the moment we're in a stage of transition where some facilities have already been replaced and some haven't, so please bear with us.
Rookery concourse Work gets underway on the existing toilet facilities
Some of you who are used to seeing your names in the bricks on the lower Rookery concourse may be alarmed to notice that not all of them are there. Please remain patient with us, each brick has been safety stored and they will all be put back as soon as the building work allows.
The recent two-week break in home fixtures gave us the perfect opportunity to press on with the work and, thanks to the sterling efforts of our building contractors, Metnor Construction Ltd, great progress has already been made.
Rookery concourse Work is well underway and the concourse area has now been widened throughout the lower Rookery
Thank you for your understanding and support.
