Wolves highly rated young centreback Joleon Lescott has been voted into the PFA Championship Team of the Season by his peers. The news comes as a mixed blessing as it can surely only lead to further interest from Premiership suitors. With David Moyes, David O'Leary and Arsene Wenger known to be admirers of the former England U18, U20 and U21 international, this will do nothing to damage his standing in the game. The upside for Wolverhampton Wanderers is that it certainly won't have an adverse effect on his current deflated market value. Which given there is said to be a gentleman's agreement between player and club to release him, should a substantial offer ever be tabled, may help them realise something like his true worth should the worst come to the worst. The nomination may also go some way to softening the blow of losing out to Kenny Miller in the Fans Player Of The Year Award.
Congratulations Jo.
