well, its a sad day that a gate of 22500 at Pride Park was the biggest attendance in the Championship yesterday!! With the likes of Leeds, Birmingham and Ipswich all at home, i would have thought someone would have beaten that - looks to me that prices are too high!! I know its still holiday time etc but it doesnt look good for the rest of the season!!

We only had just over 14,000 at Home Park yesterday which is slightly disappointing, but its not cheap to go to the footie is it, especially if you have travelling etc.. on top of all that

Trust me mate, Leeds attendance won't be reaching over 24,000 witht he way things are at the moment this season, don't rely on us bringing in crowds..... I won't be surprised if Leeds' average attendance ends up 18,000-20k.... Football is getting worse money wise and quality wise..... something needs to happen...

It's all bollocks, Leeds can't fill their ground but they can take over 30k to Cardiff or so they claim for a one off match (cynical and twisted)
Trouble is these over paid faggots who turn out a kick a bag of air around then fall over crying that are killing the game, we call them players and we pay them stupid wages.
I mean for fucks sake there's a hosptial next door to our ground that is in need of finance, one players weages would keep that place going for a year, we are not stupid, no wonder the leagues are going to shit.

Why does nearly every post have to involve a dig at Leeds?!
FFS, yes, we have part time fans! Jesus, doesn't everyone!?

We're supposed to be selling out against Birmingham, but taking away restricted seating that'll come to about 18-19k, depending how many away fans come. Need a new stadium badly

I live in Falmouth, and it cost me £30 to go to the game on Saturday! £15 for the match ticket (to STAND! Jesus, that really is pushing it), another £10 for the train ticket, £2.50 to park, and £2.30 for a (disgusting) hot dog. Can they really expect 20,000 people living in one of the most economically deprived areas of the UK to shell out for a side that they know will probably finish mid-table?
Come on Stapleton and co, either invest all the money we give you in the team or cut prices and improve the atmosphere.

biggest attendance again at Pride Park this weekend - boosted by 4700 sunderland fans! I think we had 6000 more than anyone else!! some very poor attendances at some of the bigger clubs - i think that the chairman/women need to take a look at what is happening, and stop taking the piss with prices!!

Why do so many go to see Derby though Gres??? I know what it is - your height is scaring them into going as they are scared to say no (they don't know that you are a pussy cat really) and Chopper just arrests everyone in sight and he punishes them by sending them to Pride Park - see I know you two soooooo well

I'm looking forward to about 23k next weekend vs Carlisle. Feelgood vibe around the City Ground at the minute and I imagine Carlisle will bring a large following as it's their biggest match in years. Last year we had 29K for a League One game
