its too early to tell, but if he keeps bringing us the goals then i shall say its a decent buy, but the question is.... can he cut it in the Prem? he has been there before with Leicester and done nothing, what are your thoughts on this buy?

Bad buy in my opinion. Sorry but you paid over the top odds for him and its quite silly really cos if it were Leeds in your position (bearing in mind your so close to the Prem) i'd have liked us to have gone all out and paid the extra for Jerome cos it doesn't take rocket science to see he has the talent to make the step up. He's younger, faster, more powerful and has so much more to his game and unlike Panicbiyi, you wouldn't have had to sell him once you were up.

I think i would have to agree with you on that, Warnock could have bought Jerome for 3.5 mil now, instead of going for him in the summer (which we will probably do) and Cardiff wanting more cash for him as they know we will have the money to pay around the 5 mil mark instaed of 3.5 mil!

before wednesday night i would of said bad buy and said spend more money gamble with jerome but when i saw him pay wednesday against derby ithought he brought pace and power, both essential to a team so now i say good buy as long as he can keep it up

Think hes a good signing to help United with their promotion push, however i don't think he will have much of an impact in the Premiership.
