There were reports overnight of rioting in the Sundon Park area of Luton, but it turned out these were totally unfounded. In all fairness, they probably got there and assumed it'd already been hit.
Riots in Harlington also dissipated peacefully when the gang realised they couldn't attack the post office as they needed to draw their pensions there the next day.

Home Secretary Theresa May: We're not sending the army in - "The way we police in the UK is by consent." DZFGRJHEGUVDKRS WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON YOU STUPID WOMAN?! Policing by consent?! What, we're just just gonna hope they consent to requests to stop? Christ, I thought the Tories were supposed to be the ones looking for any excuse to trample on the underclass. There really is no difference between them and LieBore

The decision was taken a while ago when a 'listening exercise' was performed on the public and they wanted us to be more 'customer focused'. Hence we moved from a Police Force to a Police Service. We're now in the position where we virtually have no other power than to try contain. The police are damned if they do and damned if they done.
The police should be there to enforce the law. Bring back police forces.

In cases like this, I'm all in favour of a bit of old-fashioned police brutality with minimum consequence A protest that gets a little out of hand is one thing, but this is wanton looting and criminality - let's see how big and brave those fucktards are against a baton charge or a hail of rubber bullets Word is that the Luton police force have been tipped off about planned trouble tonight. They handled the BNP march very well (three separate groups to control), so hopefully there'll be a repeat performance. They were out in force providing a visible deterrent last night, so with any luck they'll be a tiny bit sleep-deprived and so a little crabby and not willing to take any shit from any scumbags that turn up

We know it's going to happen in Sheffield. The knob jockeys are planning it on Twitter as we speak. I'm sure they think the police don't use social media for intelligence gathering.
What they should do is get the IP addresses for these 'Tards' before they can cause any trouble and charge them with inciting public disorder.

All these people coming out and telling us how we should be sympathising with the "rioters" are beginning to sicken me This is nothing to do with the 'disenfranchised, ignored youth who see no future for themselves', it's about a bunch of tossers who're jumping on an opportunity to go looting while the going's good

I was physically angry when watching it last night. This isn't about disenfranchised teenagers this is about 2nd and 3rd generation layabouts who don't have a clue about how to be a human being. They're so used to the government, the council, their social worker, guiding them through their lives where they take no responsbility for their actions. Now they think that britian owes them and they're taking it by looking Footlockers and mobile phone shop. They're scum, bred by scum. Maybe eugenics was the was to go and Hitler was misunderstood. LOL ;D

On Twitter, from a Waterstones employee: "We'll stay open; if they steal some books they might learn something."

Hello Rioters. Look at your friend. Now back to me. Now back at your friend. Now back to me.
Sadly, he isn't me. But if he stopped using antisocial behaviour and started using the job centre he could be like me. Look down - look back up. Where are we? We're at an interview, with the man your friend could work for. What's in his hand? It's an application form for that job he needs. Look again - the form is now money!
Anything is possible when you get a job and stop looting. I'm at a desk!
